Sunday Citar ~ Tired and Smiling
It's Sunday once again, and that means it's time for one of my favorite traditions—Sunday Citar! For those who might not know, "citar" translates to "to quote" in Spanish. This weekly gathering is all about sharing the words that resonate with us most: a beloved quote, something new we've discovered, or even one that tickles our funny bone or tugs at our heartstrings.
As I sit here, sipping on a cup of tea, I can't help but think about the beauty of life's little moments. The kind that remind us why we keep going, even during the toughest times. And speaking of beauty, take a look at this serene image of a beach I stumbled upon recently.

Isn’t it breathtaking? There’s something about the vastness of the ocean and the rhythmic sound of waves that just puts everything into perspective. It’s like nature’s way of telling us to breathe deeply, relax, and enjoy the present moment.
Speaking of perspectives, I came across this thought-provoking quote the other day:
*"Love is what makes you smile even when you're tired."*

There’s so much truth in those words. Love has this incredible ability to lift us up, even when we’re exhausted. It gives us strength, hope, and joy—things we often forget we need until they’re right there in front of us.
This past weekend, my partner and I went for a drive under the stars. The moon was particularly stunning—a warm, golden orb hovering just above the horizon. Its glow was so mesmerizing that it almost felt like it was putting on a private show just for us. And yet, as beautiful as the view was, what truly made the moment special wasn’t the scenery—it was the connection between us. Even though we were both tired, our hands intertwined, and in that simple gesture, all the weariness melted away. Love has this magical way of making every moment brighter.
If you’d like to join in on the Sunday Citar tradition, I’d absolutely love to hear from you! Simply write a post on your blog featuring the quotes that inspire you this week. Don’t forget to link back to my blog and leave your post’s URL in the comments section below. If you’re unsure how to do any of this, no worries! You can find step-by-step instructions [here](#).
Let’s make this a community effort to spread positivity and inspiration. Visit at least three other participants’ posts—you never know what gems you might discover along the way.
Until next time, keep sharing your thoughts, and remember: the simplest moments can often be the most profound.
P.S. Here’s a little memento from me to you.

Take care, and happy quoting!
