During the operation of a tractor, some drivers fail to completely replace the used engine oil. According to testing, when all the old oil is fully replaced with new oil, a tractor can typically run for around 1500 hours. However, if half of the old oil is mixed with half new oil, the performance drops significantly, and the tractor may only last about 200 hours. Additionally, the degraded lubricity of the old oil can cause excessive engine wear, black smoke emissions, and other performance issues, which ultimately shorten the tractor’s overall service life. Therefore, when the old oil has reached its expiration date, it should be completely drained and replaced with fresh oil. This is the most effective way to maintain engine health, ensure optimal performance, and truly save on maintenance costs in the long term. It also supports better overall tractor maintenance and extends its operational life.
