Biogas fermentation aid operation method
Jinbao Biogas Fermentation Aid is specifically formulated to provide essential nutrients and trace elements that support the growth and activity of methanogens—key microorganisms in biogas production. These trace elements play a crucial role in stimulating the bacteria, helping them multiply more quickly. In addition, the product enhances enzyme activity, speeding up the breakdown of complex organic materials like cellulose, which accelerates the overall digestion process.
The formulation also includes necessary nutrients that promote bacterial growth, ensuring a healthier and more active microbial community. To further improve efficiency, a blend of adsorbent materials is added to increase the contact area between the microbes and the organic substrates. This not only improves the absorption of nutrients but also helps maintain an optimal temperature for the methanogens, allowing the digester to produce biogas more rapidly and consistently.
For best results, the recommended dosage is 200–250 grams of Jinbao Biogas Fermentation Aid per cubic meter of digester volume. For standard tank sizes—4m³, 6m³, 8m³, and 10m³—the approximate quantities needed are 2, 3, 4, and 5 bags respectively. When using a new digester, mix the aid thoroughly with the raw materials before adding them into the system. For older digesters, it's important to flush the fermentation aid into the inlet after removing some slurry from the outlet, repeating this process several times to ensure even distribution.
Using this product can significantly reduce the start-up time for new digesters and greatly improve gas output in older systems. Under normal conditions, gas production should increase shortly after adding the fermentation aid. However, if no noticeable improvement occurs within a week, first check whether the aid was properly mixed into the material. If not, try injecting it again through the feed port into the slurry to ensure even mixing. Also, inspect the system for any leaks and take corrective actions if needed. With proper application, you can expect better performance and more efficient biogas generation from your digester.
