Leaf lesions usually start from the middle and lower leaves, with water-stained green-brown spots appearing at the tips of the leaves or leaves, surrounded by a wide gray-green halo, and when the humidity is high, the lesions rapidly expand into yellow-brown to dark brown spots. The edges are gray-brown and the boundary is not obvious. Often, a sparse white mold is produced at the junction of disease and health, especially after rain or early morning. The air was dry, and the lesions turned brown, dry, cracked, or curled. Stalks and petioles became infected and more irregular brown streaks were formed. In severe cases, the leaves wilted and curled, eventually causing black rot in the whole plant. Potato squash became infected, and the first light brown spot later became irregular brown to purple-brown lesions. It was slightly sunken and its edges were not obvious. The skin of the diseased potato was pale brown to dark brown, and eventually caused the potato pieces to rot.
Control methods:
1. Select disease-resistant varieties according to local conditions.
2. Seed processing. Strictly select disease-free potatoes as seed potatoes to reduce the initial infection source of disease. Seed processing if necessary, can use 72.2% Preclosure 600 times liquid, or 72% Kelu wettable powder 600 times, soak 10-15 minutes after drying planting.
3. Cultivation management. Select loose, well-drained plots. Properly dense planting to avoid partial nitrogen fertilizer and water accumulation in the fields after the rain. Found that the central disease strain cleared in time.
4. In the early stage of disease, timely prevention and treatment of the drug. 72% Kelu WP can be used 600-800 times, or 72% urea Mn Zn wettable powder 600-800 times, or 69% AZM wettable powder 800-1200 times spray control.
