The bean sprouts burning rotten cylinder 5 clever prevention

First, start with fresh, non-toxic soybeans for sprouting. Before beginning the cultivation process, carefully sort through the beans and remove any damaged, discolored, or inferior grains. Rinse the beans thoroughly with clean water, then briefly dip them in 65°C water for about one minute. Make sure the water level is approximately 15 cm above the beans. Afterward, immediately rinse them with cold water to bring the temperature back to normal. Finally, soak the beans in clean, dry water for a few hours before proceeding.

Second, pay close attention to the water quality used during soaking and rinsing. It's best to use tap water, well water, or fresh river water. Avoid using polluted, salty, or contaminated water, as it can harm the sprouts and lead to bacterial growth.

Third, maintain an optimal temperature of 20–28°C throughout the sprouting process. This range supports healthy growth without encouraging mold or bacteria. Regular monitoring is essential. If the temperature drops, ensure the germination room is sealed properly, and consider using warm water or covering the containers with plastic to retain heat. If the temperature rises too high, open the cover slightly, and pour in cooler water carefully to avoid damaging the sprouts.

Fourth, humidity plays a crucial role in sprout development. The air inside the container should remain around 90% humidity. This is mainly achieved by misting the beans regularly. In warmer conditions, mist every 3–4 hours, while in cooler seasons, misting once every 5–6 hours is sufficient. Be careful not to overwater, as excess moisture can cause rot. Also, try to minimize handling the sprouts to prevent damage or contamination.

Fifth, hygiene is key to preventing bacterial contamination. After each batch, thoroughly wash the sprouts with clean water, and expose them to sunlight for sterilization. If you notice any rotten or discolored sprouts, disinfect the containers and tools with lime water to eliminate harmful bacteria. Always keep your workspace and equipment clean to ensure safe and healthy sprout production.

By following these steps carefully, you can grow clean, nutritious, and high-quality bean sprouts at home. Whether you're growing them for personal use or commercial purposes, maintaining proper conditions and hygiene will greatly improve the outcome and safety of your sprouts.
