Causes

Symptoms
Lobular chlorosis was yellow or orange red, stem growth points become dark, dry, grow new collaterals near the growth point, the entire plant was "from birth". The branches on the top curl inwards, yellow and die, the leaves, petioles, and midribs become brittle. When the boron is severely depleted, the growing point withered and died. The leaves of the young leaves lose chlorosis between veins, and there are small markings, and the leaves are small and inward. Curl, stalks and petioles are fragile, easily detaching leaves, poor root growth, uneven fruit maturation, fruit malformations, peel brown spots, and rupture.
Control methods
1, in the tomato seedling stage, flowering period, harvesting period or found that plant boron deficiency, with borax or boric acid solution foliar spray;
2, can also be applied per acre or with water topdressing borax;
3. Prevent soil acidification, increase organic fertilizers, and apply fertilizer containing boron in advance.
Base fertilizer: Apply 0.5-0.75 kg boric acid per acre (crystals, B ≥ 17%) to promote pollen tube elongation and increase pollination rate. Do not allow boron fertilizer to directly contact seeds or seedlings so as not to affect the germination, emergence and growth of young roots and seedlings.
Top dressing: Apply 25 milliliter trace element water-soluble fertilizer per acre (liquid, TE ≥ 10%, wherein Zn + B ≥ 1000 ~ 1500 times dilution of leaf spray, in order to improve photosynthesis, promote plant nutrients to prevent nutrients.
