Identification of traits: flat oval, about 1.2 cm long, about 7 mm wide, about 2 mm thick. The testa is grayish black or black, with very narrow wings on the edges. The seed coat is slightly harder. After peeling, there is a seed kernel inside and the outside is covered with a gray-green inner seed coat; two cotyledons are yellow-white. No gas, bitter taste.

The angular loofah seeds are thicker, ovoid, black, reticular, and wingless. I have the same melon seeds.
