Notes on using rakes
(1) When operating the rake, all necessary safety equipment must be in place and fully functional to ensure a safe working environment.
(2) Operators must have a thorough understanding of the machine's functions and limitations. It is strictly prohibited to operate the machine under the influence of alcohol, illness, or extreme fatigue. During operation, personnel should keep a safe distance from the working area to avoid any potential hazards.
(3) Individuals under the age of 16 or those who are not trained in the proper use of the machine are not permitted to operate it independently.
(4) The work area for the rake should be well-ventilated and spacious, with appropriate fire-fighting equipment readily available in case of emergencies.
(5) When feeding grass into the machine, the operator should stand to the side of the hopper and never reach inside the cover. Additionally, care must be taken to prevent foreign objects such as sticks, metal pieces, bricks, or stones from entering the machine, which could cause serious damage.
(6) Reversing the cutter head is strictly forbidden, as it can lead to mechanical failure or injury.
(7) The machine must be operated at the recommended speed. Over-speeding or overloading is not allowed, as it may result in equipment damage or safety risks.
(8) When replacing moving or fixed blade fasteners, only grade 8.8 bolts and 8 nuts should be used. Lower-grade fasteners should never be substituted, as they may not provide sufficient strength and could lead to failure.
(9) If any unusual noise is detected during operation, the machine should be stopped immediately. Before conducting any inspection, the power supply must be disconnected to prevent accidental start-up. Never attempt to fix a fault while the machine is running.
(10) The amount of material fed into the machine should be carefully controlled. Too much can cause overload, while too little will reduce efficiency. A balanced approach is essential for optimal performance.
(11) Before shutting down the machine, the shift lever should be set to "0," allowing the machine to idle for about two minutes. This helps clear out any remaining dust or debris from the blower system before turning it off completely.
Following these guidelines ensures both the safety of the operator and the longevity of the equipment. Always prioritize proper training, regular maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols when using the rake.
