The transmission mode was changed from the original DC servo motor to a small stepping motor. The power supply from the original 220V was changed to 24V safety voltage. Therefore, the use of this instrument is a good basis for laboratory automation.

Four electric straight shears use:

1. The instrument should be placed on the indoor dry concrete floor to adjust the level and use the level to level the instrument work surface.

2. Slightly tighten the lever leveling device (the top wire of the bottom of the fourteenth balance adjustment bracket is leveled; the single is the rotation of the 20th leveling handwheel to make the lever level), so that the frame and the lever are basically stable.

3. Check if both sides of the lever and the sling are rubbed, and the bearing should be flexible. Adjust the counterweight, use a square to stand on the side of the beam to make the lever's own weight basically balanced. The supplier Hebei Dahong Experimental Instrument Co., Ltd. fastens with the nut and the balance hammer, and loosens the lever leveling device (fourth and seventeenth balance) The top wire of the upper part of the bracket is removed, and the leveling rod is removed; on the single unit, the 20th leveling hand wheel is rotated counterclockwise to separate it from the lever), and the lever is fully disengaged, and the lever is placed in the middle of the column.

4. Check the cutting box, the rolling steel ball should be square and placed in the ball frame, and the rolling is flexible. Put the soil sample according to the regulations, put the permeable stone, transfer plate, check the power and turn the device on after powering on.

5. Press the adjustment button to adjust the device to manual mode. Shake the handwheel so that the upper box just touches the force ring. The dial gauge is zero (the force ring is used with the pointer dial gauge) and the vertical dial gauge is reset to zero. Rotate the pressure-transmitting rod and raise the lever in an appropriate amount. If the sample is not pre-pressed, it may be slightly higher, so as to prevent the soil from sinking after pressing and the lever is too inclined.

6. Select the cutting rate according to the test requirements, and select the working mode of the device (you can press the knob to perform [manual/automatic] conversion)

7. Apply the vertical load according to the actual needs of the project. (The lever should be basically in the middle of the column.) After the soil sample is received or consolidated, unscrew the screw pin, loosen the rotating screw on the lever fulcrum device frame, and then adjust the balance bracket. Turn the top screw down to remove the adjustment balance bracket. Prepare for testing.
