The main role of silicon fertilizer and scientific application method

The primary function of silicon fertilizer and its scientific application methods

(1) The main effects of silicon fertilizer on crops

Silicon fertilizer is becoming increasingly recognized for its significant benefits in crop growth. When absorbed by plants, silicon helps regulate transpiration, preventing excessive wilting under intense sunlight or drought conditions. This improves the efficiency of photosynthesis, leading to healthier and more productive plants. Additionally, silicon promotes the silicification of surface cells, which strengthens the mechanical structure of plant stems. As a result, crops become more resistant to lodging (falling over) and diseases. On average, soil contains about 32% silicon, but the amount of soluble, plant-available silicon is relatively low, making it difficult for crops to absorb. Soils that are highly acidic or have sandy textures tend to have even lower levels of effective silicon. Some crops, such as rice, have a high demand for silicon. In fact, rice absorbs approximately twice as much silicon as the combined total of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Therefore, the need for silicon is particularly strong in these crops. Applying silicon fertilizer in areas where silicon is deficient can significantly increase rice yields, often by around 10-20%.

(2) Application methods of silicon fertilizer

Silicon fertilizer is typically alkaline in nature and can be beneficial when applied to acidic soils. It helps neutralize soil acidity, reducing the toxicity of aluminum ions and minimizing the fixation of phosphorus. This, in turn, enhances the availability of phosphorus for crops, improving their overall nutrient uptake. Combining silicon fertilizer with nitrogen fertilizer can also improve the efficiency of both nutrients. Silicon fertilizers are generally applied as a base fertilizer during planting. If the available silicon content in the soil is below 90 mg/kg, it is recommended to apply 20 kg per mu. For silicon-calcium or silicon-manganese fertilizers, the application rate is usually around 100 kg per mu. Proper timing and method of application are essential to maximize the benefits of silicon fertilizer and ensure long-term soil health.

Fluorine-Containing Benzaldehyde

Most products of Fluorine-Containing Benzaldehyde are a pale yellow liquid. They are playing an important role in fine chemical intermediates, is used as the main raw material for the synthesis of a variety of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, surfactants, polymer monomer mildew. As used in medicine synthesis antihypertensive drugs, antipyretic analgesic anti-inflammatory drugs, anti-cancer drugs, muscle relaxation drugs for synthesizing fluorine cypermethrin, fluorine chlorobenzene daisy cool in pesticides, fluoride and styrene, wherein the polymer of styrene monomer to fluorine can be widely used in the manufacture of the recording material, a thermoplastic resin coating, liquid crystal materials. Currently new miticide is effective pesticide products which is the main raw material of Fluorine-Containing Benzaldehyde.
