IMC/Teddy Ushers in New HSLX 2006 Shear

With IMC’s new press brake fully in place & operational, it was time to evaluate the other major, aging equipment in the factory for a much needed upgrade. The next item on the agenda was the shear. With that said, IMC has acquired a brand new shear to join our lineup.

So, how did this exactly come about & what does this mean for you? Let’s break it down.

“A Dull Knife Will Cut You Faster Than a Sharp One”

Previously, IMC was using a WYSONG P28-131 shear. The shear was in the rotation since the 1970s & has performed thousands of cuts since then. With manual operation, it had quite a large learning curve & required precision knowledge to get the right cut. Over time, accurate cutting became more difficult for our staff. It was time to upgrade to a more modern machine.

A Cut Above

We chose a replacement shear, HACO HSLX 2006. HACO’s HSL(X) model series is well known in the manufacturing industry for accurate cuts, exceptional efficiency & long term reliability. HSLX 2006 is a hydraulic based machine with a digital control panel interface, a giant step up from the previous WYSONG model. IMC’s team quickly went to training & picked up the operation quite swiftly.

What Does This Mean for You?

With the new shear operating, IMC is committed to producing tailor made products that will work for your application. With higher efficiency, we hope this will speed up operations & throughput. The new shear also allows certain cuts to the stainless steel, making new custom products a possibility now.

We will continue exploring other upgrades in the factory over the next several months – so stay tuned! In the meantime, to learn more about IMC click here.

Garlic Powder

Dehydrated Garlic powder refers to garlic that has been dried and ground into a fine powder. It is commonly used as a seasoning in various cuisines.

Garlic powder 80-100 mesh refers to the particle size of the garlic powder. The mesh size indicates the number of openings per linear inch in a sieve. In this case, the garlic powder has a particle size that ranges between 80 and 100 mesh.

Garlic powder 100-120 mesh, on the other hand, has a slightly finer particle size compared to the 80-100 mesh variant. It ranges between 100 and 120 mesh, meaning the particles are smaller and more finely ground.

The difference in mesh size can affect the texture and dispersibility of the garlic powder when used in cooking. Finer mesh sizes may dissolve more easily in liquids and provide a smoother texture, while coarser mesh sizes may have a slightly grittier texture.

Except for the different mesh size, we have different kinds of garlic powder: such as garlic powder 4-6 clove, garlic powder standard quality, garlic powder EU quality, and garlic powder B grade. And the garlic powder of 4-6 clove have the most pungent garlic flavour in these different kinds of garlic powder.
