At present, the scale of sheep breeding in Lingwu City shows a good development trend, especially the fattening of off-site mutton sheep into the fast lane of rapid development. However, there are still problems to be solved at the same time as the development of traditional breeding mode towards modern breeding. The author conducted an investigation on the problems in the scale breeding of the Wolf Peiliang Sheep Fattening Base.
Problems that exist
Unreasonable nutrient matching of fodder In the Wolf Peiliang meat sheep fattening base, the feeding and management of fish farmers is generally 0.25 kg of pre-feed concentrate, and it is increased to 0.9 kg in the later period, and rough feed is hardly given, resulting in wolf leather Fat, urinary stones, pre-gastric bradycardia, rumen acidosis, enterotoxicity and other diseases.
Off-site purchase of sheep for epidemic prevention, deworming, and isolation observation are not in place. Most farmers purchase three-in-four anti-seedlings for sheep purchased from off-site, and are generally not protected against sheeppox and foot-and-mouth disease infectious diseases; deworming is sometimes driven and sometimes not driven; Isolation observation time is not in place, generally only observed isolation for 3 days to 5 days, and even some farmers do not isolate and observe directly with the existing sheep breeding.
Disinfection measures are not in place Almost all farmers are not aware of the disinfection work, they cannot be disinfected once a year, and even some disinfection facilities in the aquaculture park are fictitious.
The varieties of sheep that were purchased were widely sourced and the number of sheep that the farmers purchased was as many as five, and they were from four to five different regions.
Countermeasures
Reasonably matched crude roughage ratio is not suitable for sheep with 30% to 40% less meat per day. Inoculation of triple triple vaccines, vaccinia, and hoof vaccine. In the immunization, special attention should be paid to triple-four vaccines and vaccinia vaccines, and the vaccine should be vaccinated 15 days apart. 6. Feeding in groups. Feed by groups, such as body weight, sex, and age, so that feed formulations can be adjusted in time. 7. Stop and stop water. Admission for 4 hours to 6 hours to stop eating, stop water, restore the stress on the way; in two days should not feed, feeding hay, two days later, from less to more to increase the amount of feed in case of feed conversion caused by rumen food.
Disinfection can not ignore the strict disinfectant preparation and disinfection process. The scope of disinfection includes personnel, sheep's body surface, vehicles, pens, etc. Disinfectants are selected from 3% to Sushui, 1% to 2% Caustic soda, or 0.5% Peracetic acid.
