In irrigated fields, apply urea before irrigation and consider incorporating it into the soil for better absorption. It’s best not to water immediately after applying urea, as this can reduce its effectiveness. Instead, wait 3 to 5 days before watering, allowing the urea to break down properly in the soil. Regular irrigation every 3 to 5 days helps maintain consistent moisture levels, which supports optimal nutrient uptake by the plants. Always check soil conditions before applying and adjust your watering schedule accordingly for the best results.
