Foreign-owned enterprises are the main enterprises for the export of medical equipment in China
According to the nature of the company, the wholly foreign-owned enterprise is the main body for the import of medical equipment in China. In 2010, foreign-owned enterprises exported 568 million units of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, totaling 248.805 million US dollars, and imports accounted for 52.16% of total imports. In addition, the proportion of Sino-foreign equity joint ventures and private enterprises is also relatively large, accounting for 19.81% and 17.02% of the total import amount respectively.
