Analyze whether oil separation in timken bearing grease is available

Oil separation can sometimes be seen at the top of the grease barrel, which is usually not a problem. Keep in mind that grease lubrication of the bearing is achieved by releasing the oil into the bearing contact area, so releasing oil is a necessary function of the grease. Usually, the amount of oil separated accounts for a very small proportion of the total amount of oil.

In general, the oil separated in the container can be safely returned to the grease by agitation. Experience has shown that if the grease-filled container can be placed smoothly during storage, the amount of oil separation associated with storage time can be reduced. The grade and consistency of timken bearing greases are also related to the separation of the oil. The lower the level of fat, the greater the degree of oil separation.

Finally, fluctuations in storage temperature also affect flooding, and storage temperatures should be as constant as possible.
