The introduction of the combination of broiler cage raising and flat raising

The application of this kind of rearing method combining broiler cage raising and flat raising is practiced throughout the country in the brooding period (out of the shell ~ 28 days old) and the cage raising is carried out. The fattening period (5 to 8 weeks old) is transferred to the ground level raising. The temperature requirement during the brooding period is relatively high. In this stage, multi-layer cage brooding is adopted, the floor space is small, the utilization rate of the house is high, the ambient temperature is relatively easy to control, and energy can be saved. After 28 days of age, the broiler chickens in the cage were transferred to the ground for raising, and 10 to 15 cm thick bedding was laid on the ground. At this stage, although the weight of the chicken has increased rapidly, it will not cause chest and leg diseases even if it is raised on a soft mat. Therefore, the combination of cage raising and flat raising has the advantages of two feeding methods, and has the promotion value for medium and small batch feeding of broiler chickens.
