Mountain apple orchards have limited irrigation conditions. For the problem of drought resistance in mountain apple orchards, the focus should be on the following aspects:
Fertilizer water irrigation. In the area where organic fertilizer was applied last autumn, 25 kg of fertilizer water was added to each tree with a fertilizing gun to carry out root irrigation. There is an orchard with pit fertilization water, and the average supplemental fertilizer water per tree per pit is also 25 kg.
Reverse the slope to keep water. Apple trees on hillsides should build anti-slope terraces or digging fish scales in time, especially in orchards on sunny slopes. The drought resistance of fruit trees is low, and the space for root growth is small. In addition, the recent drought and less rain have seriously affected the normal growth of fruit trees. To this end, the young trees are watered for 2 to 4 pits (more than 30 cm deep), and the fruit trees are watered for 4 to 10 pits (more than 30 cm deep). The average supplement of each tree is 25-50 kg.
Straw covered. The first is to prevent soil erosion and evaporation in the apple orchard; the second is to solve the soil organic fertilizer by straw; the third is to cover the whole year, the soil temperature, humidity and gas permeability tend to balance, which is conducive to the growth and reproduction of soil microorganisms and promote the virtuous cycle of soil microorganisms.
