Diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound, MRI and their combination in small breast cancer

Recently, researchers from the Department of Ultrasound, Mudanjiang Cancer Hospital published a paper to study the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound, MRI and its combination in the diagnosis of small breast cancer. The study pointed out that the combination of color Doppler ultrasound and MRI has a high value in the diagnosis of small breast cancer, and the diagnostic accuracy is high, which is worthy of popularization in clinical practice. The article was published in the No. 01 issue of Heilongjiang Medical Science in 2015.
120 patients with small breast cancer diagnosed in our hospital from 2012-08 to 2013-08 were randomly divided into the ultrasound group, the MRI group and the combined group. The 40 patients in each group were compared and the diagnostic value of the three groups was compared.
The accuracy of the combined group diagnosis (95.00%) was significantly better than that of the ultrasound group (60.00%) and the MRI group (57.50%), which was statistically significant (P<0.05). The diagnosis of specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value were significantly better than those of the ultrasound group and the MRI group (P<0.05).
