Gefitinib Use: First-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell carcinoma (NSCLC) patients

with sensitive mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene and locally advanced or

metastatic non-small cell carcinomas that have been treated with chemotherapy ( NSCLC)

Gefitinib Usage and dosage: Recommended dose is 250mg (1 tablet) once daily, fasting or with food. Not

recommended for children or adolescents, the safety and efficacy of this patient population have not been

studied. If there is difficulty in swallowing, the tablet can be dispersed in half a cup of drinking water (non-carbonated beverages) and no other liquids can be used. Discard the tablets in water without crushing, stir until

completely dispersed (approximately 10 minutes) and drink immediately. Rinse the cup with half a glass of water

and drink. The drug solution can also be administered through a nasal-stomach tube. There is no need to

adjust doses due to different conditions: age, weight, sex, race, kidney function, moderate to severe liver

damage due to liver metastases. Dose adjustment: When the patient has intolerable diarrhea or adverse skin

reactions, it can be resolved by short-term treatment (up to 14 days), followed by a daily dose of 250 mg.
